Would you like to learn how to tie flies from a local fisherman with over 40 years of experience?

Learn local fly tying techniques with fisherman Bill Orr in a two-session class. Participants will create their own ties designed for enjoying fly-fishing in Northern New Mexico. All the techniques are time-tested, local patterns that can be transferred to other locations. Bill Orr will also give each participant a free book Fly Patterns of Northern New Mexico by Karen Denison and Bill Orr. Equipment and materials provided.

This two-session program is $32 for PEEC members and $40 for non-members. Participants will meet on Sunday, March 19 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The fee includes both days, equipment and materials, and a free book Fly Patterns of Northern New Mexico by Karen Denison and Bill Orr.

Bill has been fly-fishing for 51 years and fly tying for 41 years. He learned the skills as a fifth grader and has been doing it ever since.

Registration is limited to 8 participants, so please register early to reserve your spot. Admission: $32/member, $40/non-member.
